About us - HCT

Himalayan Canyon Team (HCT), is a nonprofit organization from France, created in May 2009 and headquartered in Tarascon-sur-Ariège, France. HCT promotes canyoning in the Himalayas. Internationally it collects and disseminates various information related to the exploration of Himalayan canyons and related canyoning activities (first descents, topography, photography, geology, etc.) HCT organizes expeditions and exploration trips around Asia, focusing at discovering canyoning opportunities and perspective areas in all seasons and in any form. Promotes and maintains connection between the French Federation, Canyoning School and Spéléo Secours Français and its Asian counterparts (Nepal Canyoning Association, etc.) HCT prepares and supervises training and technical demonstrations of canyoning and rescue training in these countries.
